School Uniform

We will be asking all children to follow the uniform guidance below more strictly from September:

Costessey Junior School – Uniform

Year 2:

Girls:

White polo shirts/white collared shirt (with CIS logo or without)
Grey or black trousers, shorts, knee length skirt, or pinafore dress
Red CIS sweatshirt or red CIS Cardigan
Black shoes (plain coloured trainers without logos will be allowed, although boots will not be allowed)
Summer – red checked dresses will be optional.

Boys:

White polo shirts/white collared shirt (CIS logo or without)
Grey or black trousers, shorts
Red CIS sweatshirt or red CIS Cardigan (red cardigans or jumpers are also permitted).
Black shoes (plain coloured trainers without logos will be allowed, although boots will not be allowed)

PE Kit:

Red or White T – shirt (with CIS logo or without)
Black shorts
Black Tracksuit (optional for the cold weather)
Trainers

Years 3-6

Girls:
White polo shirts (with or without CJS logo)/white collared shirt
Grey/black trousers/shorts/knee-length skirt/pinafore dress
Navy CJS sweatshirt or Navy CJS cardigan
(plain navy jumpers/cardigans are also permitted)
Black shoes (plain dark coloured trainers without logos will be allowed-
Boots are not permitted)
Summer – navy checked dresses are optional

Boys:
White polo shirts (with or without CJS logo)/white collared shirt
Grey/black trousers Navy CJS sweatshirt (plain navy jumpers are also permitted)
Black shoes (plain coloured trainers without logos will be allowed.
Boots are not permitted)
Summer – school shorts are optional

PE Kit:

White t-shirt (with or without CJS logo) Black/navy shorts
Black/dark tracksuit (optional for the cold weather)
Trainers

Jewellery – No jewellery is permitted, apart from small stud earrings. Children need to be able to remove their own earrings or have tape to cover them during PE sessions.

Make up/Nail Varnish – Children are not allowed to wear make-up in school, this includes nail varnish. 

Hair – If your child wishes to wear their hair up for school, a plain band is preferred. Large bows are not permitted.
